Come and find us – we’ll be based in two rooms just off the Institute of Education bar. We’ve got books and pamphlets on socialism, fighting racism, war and imperialism, plus culture, science, music and a very popular children’s section, plus much more! |

New Bookmarks Titles Out for Marxism 2007
- Lindsey German
Material Girls: Women, Men and Work
Women’s lives have been transformed over the last generation but real equality and liberation have still to be won. Lindsey German’s book is a major new look at the reality of women’s lives today and the battles that still have to be fought. - There’s also an excellent new addition to our popular series with A Rebel’s Guide to Rosa Luxemburg by Judy Cox.
- Is revolution a thing of the past, why do revolutions happen and must they end in disaster? All these questions (and more) are taken up by Chris Harman in his new book, Revolution in the 21st Century, plus we have a wonderful collection of some of the best of Michael Rosen’s political poetry.
- Also new, Sexism and the System: A Rebel’s Guide to Women’s Liberation by Judith Orr
